Traditional. Natural. Remedial. This dense balm is a hydrating, calming, tightening anti-ager and antioxidant, that is absolutely toxin free. Blended with five natural and 100% organic ingredients; pasture raised grass-finished tallow, jojoba oil, frankincense, lavender, and rosehip, this balm soaks in like a dream and will leave your skin feeling bouncy and soft.
Tallow is bursting with skin compatible nutrients - fatty acids (triglycerides) and all four fat-soluble vitamins a,d,e and k, supporting skin cell regeneration, increasing collagen production making the skin bouncy, supporting healing and reducing sun damage. Stearic acid will lock in moisture whilst oleic acid penetrates the skin deeply, hydrating from the inside out. The suet originates from grass-finished, organic beef in Western Australia and is triple purified. Jojoba oil mimics the skin's natural sebum, allowing for optimal absorption without any greasy residue, rosehip is high in lycopene, a potent antioxidant that will reduce sun damage (oxidation) and boost collagen production. Lavender aids in reducing inflammation, whilst frankincense boswellia carterii improves the skin tone, reducing the visibility of scaring, acne, fine lines and wrinkles.

Given the heat in Australia, we believe a balm product is more feasible than a whipped product. The dense balm allows a little amount to go a long way, making it more economical and convenient. Ingredients
Tallow (organic, grass-finished)
Triple purified, grass-finished tallow is the ultimate hero ingredient for a strong skin barrier. It's full of fatty acids; stearic acid, oleic acid and palmitic acid, allowing for deep absorption to lock in moisture and deeply hydrate the skin, reducing dry and flaking skin, making it highly sort after for conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Tallow aids the stratum corneum to maintain a strong barrier that will hold in nutrients and moisture for soft, plump, healthy skin.
Jojoba (organic, cold-pressed)
Jojoba oil is not technically an oil, rather a liquid wax, it closely mimics our skin's natural sebum, allowing for deep absorption without any greasiness. Jojoba is one of the most beneficial remedial oils for psoriasis and eczema, as it promotes healing, reduces irritation, and is very kind on sensitive skin (low irritant). As jojoba is so close to our natural sebum, it helps to balance oil production and is non-comedogenic, meaning it won't block pores. Jojoba is one of the essential natural oils for skincare as it's own benefits are copious but it also helps other remedial ingredients to deliver results by pulling them deeper into the skin.
Frankincense (organic, steam-distilled)
Frankincense boswellia carterii is an astringent, tightening the skin and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It boosts skin cell regeneration, avoiding signs of premature aging from sun or pollutant damage, and reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
Rosehip (organic, cold-pressed)
Rosa canina contains lycopene, retinol, vitamin c, omegas 3, 6, and 9, and linoleic, linolenic, and oleic fatty acids. These highly remedial nutrients brighten the skin, boost collagen production - promoting skin elasticity, reduce previous sun damage such as sun spots & burns, as well as protect and prevent damage from UV and environmental pollutants.
Lavender (organic, steam-distilled)
Lavendula angustifolia is a powerful anti-inflammatory that reduces the redness in rosacea and acne scarring, and soothes the skin in eczema and psoriasis cases. Linalool antioxidant found in lavender oil scavenges & reverses damage from reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause oxidative damage to cells, leading to premature ageing. However, linalool can be a cause of dermatitis in some people. Not only is lavender oil non-comedogenic, it helps detoxify & clean the skin due to the high antioxidant content.

Storage recommendations
1. Don't keep the jar near water, especially tap water, as it may harbour bacteria and turn the product rancid.
2. Store out of the heat and don't leave in hot cars for extended periods.
3. Clean hands are key, only use dry, clean hands inside the jar.
100% natural product. No artificial fragrances, emulsifiers, antioxidants, PUFAs, phthalates, petroleum-based oils, or parabens. Stored in an amber glass jar to preserve oil quality. Restore the lid after use to avoid water mixing into the oil.
How to use
This nutrient-dense, soft balm spreads well, a little goes a long way. Apply a pea-sized amount to your hand and massage into you face, neck and décolletage. The condition of every persons skin varies, so the quantity of applications will differ. Can be used on any part of the skin where it may be required. This balm is versatile! It is magical on sunburns.
Some enjoy this balm once in the morning once at night, others find it works best for them every day or every other day. Trial what works best for your skin.

Natural products respond to their natural environment
The beauty of a natural, biocompatible products, is they react to the ambient temperature they are experiencing. You don't get this sort of realism from synthetic, emulsified, manufactured skincare.
In the cooler months, the Organic Tallow Face Balm may be more dense, simply hold it in your palm for longer to allow for it to warm up and spread easily.
In the warmer months, it may be more soft, take care not to over apply, only using the small amount recommended.
